The only big issue it caused me was that it caused my Hitachi 10k RPM HDD to run at 100% constantly. Once I set my antivirus to treat it as malware/spyware and deleted the update itself the problem went away and hasnt returned. The people I hear having the big problems are laptop off the shelf desktops and notebook users. I mention this because microsoft aupport sent me a message saying that there have been non sanctioned 3rd party updates being sent out through windows update since microsoft did away with their in house QA team and went to a 3rd party contractor to do that work. That info I actually got from a microsoft support technician. He was very unhappy about microsfts decision in that area.
